Shani is a grade 11 student and has been attending ISB since grade 7. He’s from Israel, and he has two siblings attending ISB in middle school. Shani chose to take media studies to further understand the concepts around media and his interest in school events. Shani’s favorite kind of media is any media revolving around sports, whether it is articles, YouTube / social media videos, or live events, matches, or games. Shani is very invested in athletics, and his main hobbies include football and basketball, as he has been a varsity member of the basketball and football teams since his freshman year. Shani was born in Israel and lived there until he moved here in grade 7. Shani’s favorite part about ISB is the diverse community and friend groups within all branches of the school. After graduating from ISB next year, Shani plans to serve and protect his home country of Israel by serving in the country’s military.
