2016 is by far one of the most exciting years for movie releases. Without a doubt cinema lovers could not wait for so many different movies to be released. From Suicide Squad which some may consider a disappointment to Me Before You ending in tears, this year sure was exciting.

Suicide Squad, in all honesty Suicide Squad had not really met most people’s expectations. From all the demand and hype which was surrounded its release, the final product did not satisfy most viewers.. Many fans of the DC Universe comics believed that the director made the movie extremely choppy and that saying the plot been all over the place would be inaccurate as there was “no plot”. Personally I would give the movie a solid 6/10. Not only had the movie escalated too quickly, I did not taken anything from the movie and been hooked, I was not hooked nor did I take anything from the movie.

Me Before You is an amazing romance film that really caught my attention. With no former knowledge of the film or any solid expectation, the first ten minutes really set me off into believing that it was all about romance. But in reality, it was much more than that. During the entire film I was on the edge of tears. Together, the actors and director brought the characters to life with several different perspectives.

Ride Along 2 is an extremely funny and entertaining movie with more advantages that weigh down the disadvantages. An important point about the movie is that the plot was a bit boring, the composition of the movie was not in an organized matter however the comedy out shined the flaws of the plot.

Central Intelligence was funny although, extremely overrated. The movies storyline has been based around other movies such as Ride Along, it made me feel as if the movie was not unique and to an extent, viewers were bored after a while. The director should have ended the movie a different way and should have tied a theme to it.

One of my all-time favourites of this year, the funniest and corniest movie. Deadpool, an amazing film with some many different comedic lines, the movie had viewers hooked and confused at the same time! From the movie becoming a comedic romance to a very serious romance with different themes, the movie put me in tears from laughter.

Without a doubt the rest of 2016 will be filled with more thrilling movies that are able to capture many viewers.
