Stuck in Bangkok over Winter Break?

Stuck+in+Bangkok+over+Winter+Break%3F

Winter break is in less than 2 weeks away, and if you’re planning on spending it all, a

week, or even a day in Bangkok, here is a list of some cool places to visit with your

friends and family.

ARTBOX

Artbox is an exhibition market, that changes location every month, and opens on

Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 3pm-12am. The location for this month of

December is “The EmDistrict” (located across from EmQuartier, and next to Emporium).

The shops range from clothes to jewelry to decor, with almost half of the market

dedicated to food, including colorful drinks, burger and hotdog trucks, pizza stands,

seafood, and so much more.

CHATUCHAK WEEKEND MARKET

Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of the biggest markets in the world, covering a total

area of 27 acres divided into 27 individual sections. The different sections are separated

into categories including flowers, fruit, street food stands, clothing, accessories, kitchen

ware, and home decor. Open from 10:00-17:00 pm every weekend, the Chatuchak

Weekend Market is the perfect place to get lost in piles of t-shirts and room decor.

ESCAPE HUNT

Known as the ultimate live escape game in Bangkok, Escape Hunt is the perfect way to

turn a boring afternoon into an exciting one. At arrival, customers are told to choose a

hunt experience, in which they must complete a series of games to solve a mystery. Not

only that, the location also provides a lounge area, where customers are welcome to

munch on snacks and dress up to take photos.

GRAM

This Brooklyn inspired coffee shop, located in a courtyard of a small complex behind Soi

49 (and now Emquartier as well) is the perfect brunch location for you and your friends

on a Saturday morning. The environment is open and laid back, and the menu ranges

from pancakes to charcoal burgers, and of course, coffee.

TRIBECA

Another elegantly decorated brunch location, Tribeca is known for their quieter

environment, with cheaper (but still delicious) options, including crab cake benedict and

chocolate cake. Head on over for a light brunch or lunch with your friends and family

before a big day of shopping or exploring the city.
