PEPPERMINT BARK

Ingredients:

Milk or dark chocolate

Peppermint extract

White chocolate

Candy canes

How to make:

  1. Line a baking dish with aluminum foil
  2. Microwave and melt milk chocolate
  3. Pour melted milk chocolate onto parchment paper and spread
  4. Melt the white chocolate
  5. Pour on top of the milk chocolate
  6. Put candy canes in a zip lock bag
  7. Using a hammer, crush the candy cane and sprinkle on top of the white chocolate layer
  8. Put the finished chocolate in the freezer to harden for about 2 hours.
  9. Break the candy into smaller pieces.

DONE!

THE GRINCH KABOB

Ingredients:

Green grapes

Banana

Mini marshmallows

Toothpicks

Strawberries

How to make:

  1. Thread 1 grape, 1 banana slice, 1 strawberry (narrow end facing up), and 1 marshmallow onto 1 toothpick to resemble the Grinch’s head in his red hat.
  2. Repeat with remaining grapes, banana slices, strawberries, and marshmallows.
  3. Serve onto a dish and enjoy!

HOT CHOCOLATE

Ingredients:

1/3 cup Cocoa powder

3 ½ cups milk

¾ vanilla extract

¾ cup white sugar

½ up half and half cream

1 pinch salt

1/3 cup boiling water

How to make:

  1. Combine the cocoa, sugar, and pink of salt in a saucepan
  2. Stir mixed ingredients into the boiling water for about 2 minutes
  3. Next, stir in milk and heat until very hot
  4. Remove from heat
  5. Add vanilla
  6. Divide between 4 mugsa
  7. Add whipped cream

You’re all done!

CHRISTMAS SUGAR COOKIES

Ingredients:

4 cups sifted all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 eggs

3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Colored Icing (of your choice)

1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar

Food coloring

1 1/2 tablespoons water

Colored sprinkles

How to make:

The cookie

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Stir together flour and baking powder in a bowl
  3. In a second bowl, beat butter with sugar until it turns fluffy
  4. Slowly stir in the flour mixture
  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces
  6. Cut out shapes of your choice using cookie cutters and place them on ightly greased cookie sheets
  7. Bake until lightly golden (rotating cookie sheet after about 10 minutes)
  8. Transfer the cookies onto a cooling rack

Icing:

  1. Mix sugar and water
  2. Stir in food coloring of choice
  3. Decorate cookies
