Tanawat (Whale) Cheevarunothai is a 16-year-old sophomore who has attended ISB since he was in pre-k and plans to graduate from here as well. A passionate tennis player, Whale is the captain of the JV team and has competed in several tournaments. Outside of sports, he’s also a talented pianist. Living by the motto, “The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday,” Whale plans to study in the United States or China after graduation from ISB. Whale is bilingual in English and Thai and also has moderate Mandarin skills. Whale enjoys reading biographies, and he is developing an interest in journalism by joining the Media Studies class at the beginning of 2025.
