Ellen is currently a returning 15 year old sophomore who has been attending the international school of Bangkok for 3 years since the second semester of 7th grade. Her parents are South Korean however, she was born in the United States. Her academic journey has taken her across Asia, she has attended many schools in Shanghai but studied the longest in Shanghai Community International School before moving to Thailand. She has a younger brother in ninth grade named, “Ryan”. Drawn by her keen interest in journalism, Ellen enrolled in Media Studies to sharpen her writing skills. She is planning to take the AP course because she wants to study in the United States, for Marketing, mixed with art. Ellen’s goals for her sophomore year is to maintain balance between school and her social life, to have good grades in all of her classes, and to join the IASAS art team.
