Dear ISB Class of 2020,
You are about to enter your final year in high school! After three years of moving from a silly underclassman to a more respectable junior, you’re finally going to become the mighty SENIORS of ISB! Make it memorable, and enjoy every moment. Remember to make the most of everything, enjoy the ups and downs, because senior year goes by in a flash and you don’t want to miss the journey.
We’re not going to lie. It’s going to get tough sometimes. There are university applications, EE, CAS, IAs, and schoolwork on top of all that! Honestly, there were times when we wanted to break down and cry (which we often did). It may feel like the only solution is to give up and stop caring. But we got through it, and so can you.
With the academic pressure, please remember to make time for yourself, your friends, and your family. You don’t want to look back on your senior year, and remember it as a time of stress and studying when it could have been a year of appreciation for all your experiences in high school. Your friends and the people in your grade are the only people who understand what you’re going through, so take advantage of that understanding, and seek help when you need it.
Today is our last day in high school. All of us have had unique experiences that we will never forget. We have enjoyed our time in sports, clubs and in the classroom and all of us are sad to be leaving. During the four years, there were so many days that we just wanted to stop coming to school, and just move on to university. But now that the day is finally here, our FINAL day at ISB, we can’t help but miss those days of sitting in class, listening to lectures, and taking notes (yes, this is cheesy, but I guess final days always bring out the cheesiness in people).
Well that’s it from us. We hope you enjoy your final year! Be great role models for the school, support each other, and we wish you the best of luck!
And don’t forget; Stay Classy Panthers!
Love,
Three Seniors
