Planting Memories
The Thai students and ISB staff gathered in front of the school to perform a ceremony to honor His Majesty King .Bhumibol Adulyadej
Last Friday on September 15th, the high school and middle school Thai classes, as well as the staff gathered in front of the school to commemorate the passing of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej. To honor His Majesty, the students and staff planted yellow marigolds. Yellow is the color of His Majesty, as he was born on a Monday. Dr. Davies gave a short speech, and the Thai students read out poetry during the ceremony.

The marigolds are planted right at the front of school, so they can be seen by all who enter ISB. In the coming months and years, the marigolds will bloom with their yellow petals as a vibrant tribute to His Majesty and the work he has done for this country.
