Welcome to PantherNation!

PantherNation is a new website combining The International and Panther Productions, the two main student news sources at ISB. Although our mission stands the same-to promote, represent and support the student voice at our school-we will now be carrying out this goal in a more dynamic, direct way. In addition to writing, we will now be offering video journalism.

We have decided to make this change because the world is undeniably changing. Newspapers, magazines, and other conventional means of communication are receiving less and less subscribers, while the more accessible internet-based media are growing at an exponential pace. At a transforming time such as today, we thought that it is important to adapt to the changing trend and ready ourselves for even greater ones.

Our hope is that this website will offer you a wider range of opporunities in finding out about student opinions and events at ISB. Videos, online polls, reader comments, links to other IASAS websites, and more. You will find yourself learning about our school in ways you never have. The comment feature and links to our social media websites will also give you the chance to interact with us and raise your opinions on certain topics. We have always been interested in your feedback–we can finally hear them!

Even if you were a regular reader of the print issue of The International, though, don’t worry! We will still be producing our monthly print magazine, in which we will be including more long-term and in-depth articles. The same goes for Panther Productions; we will continue to create weekly broadcasts and features.

So we hope that you enjoy our new website and will visit it often to update yourself about events happening and also to find out about student opinions at our school!
