Barcelona or Real Madrid?

This year, La Liga will be undeniably intense and unpredictable, mainly because Cristiano Ronaldo has left Real Madrid. Even people who do not follow Spanish football know at least one fact: the fight for the championship title is between Barcelona and Real Madrid. However, based on an evaluation of players, it is most likely that Barcelona will win the Spanish league.
In the last few years of La Liga, Barcelona and Madrid have not been the only teams that won La Liga. Atletico Madrid won in the 2013-2014 season; however Madrid and have consistently gotten first or second place. Barcelona has won the league 25 times, while Madrid has won 33 times. Madrid is a more successful club but in the last 10 La Liga seasons Barcelona has won 7 titles and is more successful in La Liga than Real Madrid. This is why it is possible that Barcelona will win.
For more than a decade, Barcelona has been a team with world class players.
Lionel Messi is Barcelona’s hope, but there are also other players such as Ousmane Dembele, Gerard Pique, Phillipe Coutinho, and Luis Suarez who are very skilled. The most important players in each position are goalkeeper Ter Stegen, Defender Jordi Alba because he can really attack and move the ball forward, Midfielder Arturo Vidal who can defend really well and will improve
Barcelona’s central defence midfield. Finally, is forward Lionel Messi because Messi is one of the greatest players of all time.
Therefore, because of the skilled players, this year’s La Liga winner will likely still be Barcelona. Barcelona’s team is not only equally as good as last year, but may be even better because of the new player Arturo Vidal who will be the key for Barcelona to win the league. Additionally, Real Madrid has also lost Cristiano Ronaldo, thus decreasing the chances that they will win. The probability of the two winning the La Liga is Barcelona 70 percent and Real Madrid 35 percent.
