Last week, on November 5th, 6th, and 7th, the high school fall production Amadeus was performed. After months of endless rehearsals for the actors, singers, and dancers, they finally got to show all of their hard work to the school.

Rigel Blatt (12), who played one of the leads named Salieri, said that “it feels good being done with Amadeus, also it also feels strange,” He went on to explain that “it is nice to be able to get work done, and I am also really happy to be finished with something I am really proud of. The weird part is that I am not at school every day from 2-7.”

And their hard work did not go unnoticed. An anonymous adult said that Amadeus was, “One of the best high school productions I have seen in thirty years!”

Not only a hit with the adults, but the student body was excited about the play as well!

Nikki Glucksman (12), said that her favorite part was “seeing my friends transform and get into character! Dan was hilarious and Rigel was so emotional and involved, they really performed well.”

Paola Lindo (11) said that she, “loved the relationship between Constanze and Mozart, it seemed like they were actually in love. The staging was also really interesting, all of the small details in the costume and the set really added to the piece.“

Congratulations to everyone who worked on Amadeus, great show!
