Promotion: Save the Elephants!
May 28, 2020
The current Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on countless businesses and lives.
For the Elephants of Thailand, this has meant the closure of all the Elephant Sanctuaries and rides they previously had to endure as part of the tourist trade.
The closure of tourist sites left the elephant feeders with no income to supply the elephants’ foods since mid-March; unfortunately no provision was made for these beautiful animals.
We now have an urgent need to feed a number of Elephants for as long as it takes for them to be moved to other locations where they can be let back into the wild or until this current pandemic can be managed.
These hungry Elephants usually eat up to 200 to 600 pounds of Pineapple trees daily. Currently, they have less than 200 pounds per day, and supplies are running out. We urgently need shipments in order to help or otherwise we will be witnessing a devastating picture of innocent animals suffering starvation.
We appreciate that this is a very difficult time for everyone so we give grateful and humble thanks for any donation you may be able to spare.
Every donation helps. Thank you.
